Food City, named after the restaurant in the building they rehearse in, is a band that started in 2022. Their repertoire consists of rock covers and some original songs from their EP “A Taste of Chaos”, which will be coming out soon. If you’re looking for an energetic, loud and powerful performance, look no further.

Four dudes who like to play Blink-182 songs and forget how old they are. Covering all pop-punk rock hits written by Mark, Travis and Tom, going back to All The Small Things, eating some M+M’s along the way, while driving to the Rock Show with Adam. Be prepared for some good old 2000s nostalgia, high school-type drama and male insecurity lyrics.

Deze groeiende indierockband gooit alle creativiteit die ze hebben in hun muziek. Met veel plezier en energie slepen ze hun publiek mee in hun fantasievolle wereld, waar jij de bewonderaar bent van hun creaties.
Hun eerste nummers, Mustache Mountain, Rainbow Roulette en De Bucket Song, gaan over spectaculaire avonturen. Geen relevante dagelijkse onderwerpen waar mensen zich eindeloos druk over maken, maar simpele dingen om op weg te dromen, te ontspannen of even al je energie op los te kunnen laten.

Our goal as a band is to create an energy that makes people want to move and sing. Our songs are always crowd-centered, and we try to include as much crowd interaction as possible! We play genres such as pop, classic rock, disco, funk and party music, and include all of these genres in our sets. When covering songs we always try to add new and interesting ideas. Besides covers, we also play originals. We released our first original “Rockstar” last June, and plan to show you our new material on June 17th for the WAK at Metropool!

S.D.V. Chassé is dé hechte studentendansvereniging van de Universiteit Twente waar gezelligheid en plezier centraal staan. We focussen ons vooral jazz en we dit combineren met veel verschillende andere stijlen zoals contemporary, modern, show, lyrical en ballet. Binnen onze club dansen we op vier verschillende levels, dus er is écht een plek voor elk niveau. Op 17 juni laten wij een paar leuke sneak peeks zien van onze optredens. Je zult al onze stijlen en niveaus tegenkomen dus zorg dat je het niet mist!
